Net nu Karl Hammer weer €12.000 uitlooft... werd het goud van de Reichsbank gevonden!

Hé Karl,

Zopas gemerkt dat je opnieuw een beloning uitlooft voor wie je het goud van de Reichsbank kan tonen, en de tranen van de wolf. In februari wist uitgeverij Elmar me nog te vertellen dat de termijn was verstreken en de actie afgelopen, maar een paar maanden later, geconfronteerd met de deurwaarder die Ignace Lepage van www.codebrekers.be had ingeschakeld, bleken de voorwaarden wel degelijk nog op je website te staan, zij het - wellicht - geschreven in onzichtbare inkt... die nu plotseling weer zichtbaar is geworden.

Het doet ons deugd te merken dat je als deadline gewoon de deadline van Lepage hebt overgenomen, zijnde tegelijk de publicatiedatum van De Hamer van Thor. Het doet ons nog meer plezier te vernemen dat je alle (nieuwe) informatie zult evalueren samen met 'relevante experten' en de update van je boek in overweging wil nemen, die je al 5 jaar na De tranen van de wolf had moeten brengen, in 2012 jawel, met Gezocht: Codebrekers. Beter laat dan nooit, zullen we maar zeggen.

Hierbij publiceer ik alvast een paar foto's van het goud van de Reichsbank, dat ik samen met mijn topteam van relevante experten heb opgespoord. Jammer genoeg hebben we in die treasure trove geen diamanten van Hitler aangetroffen. Ongetwijfeld zal het jou en vele andere codebrekers en schattenjagers interesseren waar en hoe we de goudstaven precies getraceerd hebben. En nog wel allemaal dankzij jouw verhaal... en dat van Peter Schulz natuurlijk... jazeker, ongetwijfeld! En uiteraard, bovendien, door het kraken van de code op de partituur.

Benieuwd? Dan zou ik me toch maar een exemplaar van De Hamer van Thor aanschaffen, Karl...

Codebreakers Reward
Although Karl cracked most of the code, he has not been able to retrieve the lost diamonds and this is why he presents all his findings to a world-wide audience to help him unlock the last secrets and trace the hiding place of the gold and diamonds.
On 12.12.2012 he offered a € 12.000 reward to anyone who can solve the last part of the puzzle. Hammer: “Just like Stefan Krah and his network of amateur researchers managed to crack the earlier Enigma code, I now hope that the same can be done with this one.”

Conditions
There are several conditions to the payment of the reward. Payment is only due when the gold and diamonds are actually and tangibly presented. Karl Hammer is at no time and in no way obliged to act or travel to visually inspect the gold or the diamonds. The genuineness of the gold and diamonds must by determined by an independent expert. Karl Hammer in no way wants to become involved in (international) criminal or morally reprehensible acts of conduct. Acquiring the gold and the diamonds must be in accordance with the aforementioned. The explanation of the entire code as used in the specific letter in the dossier must be rational and intelligible, so that this explanation substantiates what the factual hiding place of the gold and the diamonds has been and where therefore the gold and the diamonds were now found. Karl Hammer lays no claim on any gold or diamonds retrieved. The discoverer(s) of the gold and diamonds, however, agree to reveal their full and detailed account of how they deciphered the code and obtained the gold and diamonds to Karl Hammer, and that on the bases of this account Karl Hammer has the exclusive publication rights. 

Termination
Since the publication of the book many people have tried to assist Karl to solve the puzzle. This lead to some promising and exiting moments. However, per 12.12.2014 no definitive results were achieved. For this reason Karl has set a deadline for the reward on June, 12th 2015. After this Karl will evaluate all the (new) information, review it with its sources and relevant experts and consider an update for the book.
